The 3rd INPPO World Congress 2018. INPPO2018 took place in Padova, Italy, in north-east Italy, close to Venice and other cities known worldwide for their historical and cultural value.
INPPO2018 was hosted by the University of Padova, the second oldest university in the world established in 1222, in the fascinating location of the Botanical Garden, the oldest University Botanical Garden in the world and UNESCO Heritage, founded in 1545.
It brought together leading experts in plant proteomics from all over the world and provided a critical mass in proteomics technologies and applications on all aspects of plant proteomics.
The 3rd INPPO World Congress continued a series of bi-annual meetings that started in 2014 in Hamburg and 2016 in Bratislava, to provide insight into the most recent advances in proteomics technologies and applications, such as gel-based and gel-free proteomics, mass spectrometry, including quantitative approaches and bioinformatics, post-translational modifications, protein-protein interaction and signalling, sub-proteomics (organelles, membranes, cell wall, etc.) and functional proteomics. An industry exhibition will present the latest products in proteomics technologies and related areas.
